Other League Organizations

Our Oakland League is one of six local Leagues in Alameda County. The others are: 

Each League designates a rep and an alternate to attend meetings of the Alameda County Council of Leagues of Women Voters every other month.  A county Council chairperson is chosen from one of the Leagues and serves a two-year term.  The job rotates thru the 6 Leagues in an alphabetic order.  In 2019 - 2020 the chair is from LWV Eden Area.
